Who is Peak Sports? – Meet the Team

Ryan Holloway formed Peak Sports MGMT in 2012 after over a decade of experience in sales, management and collegiate sports. He brings enthusiasm and ideas from each of his stops. Ryan will serve as your Lead Guide on your way to the Peak! Prior to forming Peak Sports MGMT, Ryan was with KP Sports where he was a Regional Sales Director overseeing the Gulf States Region with oversight of two properties and regional sales. Ryan joined KP Sports as General Manager of McNeese Sports Properties where he not only made an immediate impact on revenue growth, but also helped to enhance the footprint of McNeese State Athletics in the region. Before joining the KP Sports team, Ryan was the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Ticket Sales for Rice University overseeing tickets sales for the entire program and was a liaison to IMG College for the athletic department.

Prior to Rice, Ryan served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions at Northwestern State in Louisiana where he oversaw marketing, tickets sales and licensing. Ryan is a 2002 graduate of Texas State with a double major in finance and marketing.

Ryan is married to the former Cara Bauer of Dallas, Texas, a former soccer standout at Stephen F. Austin State. Ryan and Cara make their home in the Historic District in Lake Charles, Louisiana. They our proud parents of their Golden Retriever, Frank, and have one daughter, Lila Claire, born in September 2011. In his spare time Ryan likes to hike, travel and spend time with his family.

A 2003 graduate of North Texas, Cara spent her first two years of college as a soccer letter winner at Stephen F. Austin State. Cara brings seven years of teaching experience along with two years of sales experience to Peak Sports. She has a high level of experience, knowledge of college athletics and will focus on administrative duties including sponsor fulfillment. It is more than a family affair at Peak Sports, look at Cara as your go to girl!.

Every business needs a quality intern to keep the inner workings of the company going. Peak Sports has Frankie Doggie Boy, Frank for short. Frank focuses on fetching the newspaper each morning, doing tricks for cookies and roaming the Peak Sports halls as mascot and true President and CEO of the company.
